Gone But Not Forgotten
Help remember all of the dedicated police officers who have lost
their lives in the course of their duty. National Police Remembrance Day is September 29th.
The bottom half of the Police Department Remembrance flag is black to
express mourning and the top half is blue. The yellow five pointed star is displayed
with one point up in the center as a symbol of power, authority, protection, and safety.
In the center the word "Police" is written on a scroll inside of a double outlined circle.
Constructed from heavy duty 200 denier nylon, finished with a canvas heading and grommets.
